About Us

Our Beginning

Olde Wood Accents began in the 1990s with a simple mission: to reclaim and reuse building materials, giving old wood new life in modern construction. As a family-owned business, we have always believed that older materials are not only of superior quality but also an essential way to conserve our natural resources.

We know that reusing wood helps reduce deforestation, allowing us to preserve the beauty of virgin growth woods that are no longer readily available. With over 30 years in the industry and more than 150 years of combined experience working with high-quality, old-growth materials, our commitment to sustainable building practices remains unwavering.

Family Owned and Operated

As a family-owned business for 2 generations, we take great pride in the legacy we are building for our children and grandchildren. Family values are at the core of everything we do, driving us to maintain the high standards of craftsmanship and customer service that our clients have come to expect. As we look to the future, we are determined to continue producing quality work that reflects the same care and attention that has sustained us through the years.

Everything Sourced In U.S.A.

We are passionate about supporting the community that has supported us. That’s why we make a point to source our materials not only from our local region in Acadiana but from suppliers across the United States. We are committed to backing domestic production and suppliers whenever possible. This dedication to sourcing locally and nationally allows us to deliver superior products while contributing to a sustainable economy.

Committed To Our Team

Our team is more than just a group of employees—they’re skilled professionals we trust to represent the Olde Wood Accents name. We’ve always believed that taking care of our team means they can take better care of our customers. By investing in our employees, we ensure that they can lead fulfilling lives both inside and outside of work. This sense of family extends throughout our company, from leadership to the newest hire, to foster a work environment built on trust, respect, and excellence.
